Within a sky-lit, classical nineteenth century gallery, a violet gradient of horizontal threads created an almost sedimentary ceiling of color above the viewer. A vertical curtain of transparent monofilament bisected the space diagonally, weaving through the horizontal ceiling above. A large, translucent sphere, at once both taut and delicate, rested weightlessly at one end of the gallery, capturing and reflecting the changing daylight in the space.
Moon Rain Cloud was an investigation of light and tension that explored perception and time by emphasizing the constantly shifting, natural cycle of shadow and light within an architectural space.
